Preparation and Use

Preparing Baby Meals
Formula is not sterile and can make your baby sick if instructions are not followed.
After weaning after 6 months, we recommend feeding your baby about 1 pint (500-600ml) per day.
Aptamil® Advanced Follow-Up Milk helps cover the increased nutritional needs of babies aged 6-12 months.

Servings approx. 1: Level Number of measuring spoons per serving (1 measuring spoon = 4.8g): 7. Amount of water per serving: 210 ml, 7 fl.oz

IMPORTANT: Always use the measuring spoon provided. Please note that the color of the measuring spoon may change from time to time.

Wash hands and sterilize all instruments according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Bring 1 liter of fresh running water to a boil. Let the kettle cool for 30 minutes. Measure the required amount of water (see feeding instructions) in a sterile beaker. Be careful not to burn yourself. Do not artificially soften the water or boil it repeatedly.
Use the included scoop to level the powder with the built-in spirit level. Do not press or stack powders.
Add appropriate amount of powder to water. Adding too much or too little scoop can be harmful. Place the sterilized lid on the beaker and shake vigorously vertically for at least 10 seconds until the powder dissolves.
Cooling while running the water faucet. Check the feed temperature. Feed immediately.

Critical Feeds
Assemble each feed as needed.
For hygienic reasons, do not store the finished feed. Discard unfinished feed as soon as possible, always within 2 hours.
Do not heat food in the microwave. Hot spots can develop and cause burns.
Do not give your baby extra measuring spoons.
Never leave your baby alone while breastfeeding.

Storage

Store powder in a cool, dry place.
Do not refrigerate.
